Earlier this evening it was brought to our attention that Sky Sports have us down to play a friendly against Exeter City on Friday 18th July - this is backed up on the soccerbase website.

Having no information of any such fixture, we contacted Vale boss Lee Sinnott at the RAF camp in Uxbridge and as suspected, he confirmed there will be no such fixture. We hope that clears up any confusion.
