Here's a chance Vale supporter can secure the prize of a lifetime by bidding to become a Vale squad member for season 2008/09 with Port Vale F.C.

You will get a squad number and your name will appear in the matchday programme, alongside the other Vale players.

You will receive the new home kit with your name and squad number attached. You will also have your photo taken with the squad at the official photo call on the 30th of July.

You will sign your professional contract in the Secretary's office and talk to the Manager (Lee Sinnott) about your football skills.

Also included is a framed squad photo of you with the Vale players and a signed football.

Last year's winner, Paul Bennett, certainly enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to anybody.

He said: "As I live some distance away, it was an amazing opportunity for me to see behind the scenes and meet those running the club that I've supported all my life.

"I was made to feel very welcome by the chairman, manager and all concerned and even enjoyed a bit of banter with the players during the set up and taking of the team photograph.

"On the whole it was a slightly surreal, but highly enjoyable experience and I'm extremely glad that I had the opportunity to do it."
